In addition to the horticultural expertise of the Chanticleer staff, many employees have other talents which contribute to the uniqueness of the garden. The talents range from wood working, stone carving, painting, metal working, to the union of bamboo canes and rebar to provide creative supports. Take a look at some of the artistry you will experience as you stroll through the garden. Click on any underlined name to read a profile for that staff member. Come look inside
The old apple house
To see if you can find
The nemesis of the mouse

By land or by sea
Come sit on me
For a view of the pond
You will never believe

Take a stroll
To the veg-edible garden
But to take a seat
You will have to pardon
For the vines grew so big
That they covered the twigs
That once made a seat
In the vegetable's digs

When the Minder House fell
There was so much debris
That Chris Woods declared
"I want a settee"
So Doug carved the stone
By day and by night
Until the rock chair
Fit Christopher just right

Joe built this path
As far as we know
To answer the riddle
Of where the stone goes
A stones throw away
Could be up or down
And so his path
Meanders around

Not much rhymes with
Przemyslaw
But to describe his talents
Is not hard at all
He climbs the trees
As if it were a cinch
Then heads to the shop
To join his forge bench
The fence works you see
Will keep you safe
From wondering beyond
The water wheel gate

A clematis' life
       Is unruly at best
To provide it support
       Is often in jest

St. Patricks Day comes
But once a year
Sowing peas in time
Is always a fear
With a trellis strung tight
You can sleep well at night
Knowing
You've just fed the deer

Artist Tree In The Garden
And then there's me…Who shall remain unnamed
          Professional photographer…Is a role I feign
                 Gardener by day…Poet by night
                          A garden without verse…just wouldn't be right
